The elephant bathing tour at Big Buddha Safari Camp includes four hands-on activities: learning about elephant behaviour from experienced mahouts; preparing tropical fruit and hand-feeding the elephants; bathing the elephants in the river with brushes and buckets; and a playful mud spa session together with the elephants. The entire experience lasts approximately 2.5 hours and is suitable for all ages from infants (free) to adults.
There are two daily sessions: Morning — hotel pickup at 08:30, return to hotel by 11:00. Afternoon — hotel pickup at 12:30, return to hotel by 15:00. Both sessions offer identical activities and pricing. The afternoon session is a good option for guests who prefer a later start or have morning plans.
Adults: ฿1,450. Children (4-10 years): ฿1,250. Infants (0-3 years): free. The child price applies to children aged 4 to 10 years old (not 11 — guests aged 11 and above pay the adult price). Infants aged 0-3 years are welcome at no charge.
Included: hotel transfer round-trip from free areas, all elephant bathing activities (behaviour learning, feeding, river bathing, mud spa), raincoat, injury insurance, English-speaking guide. Not included: hotel transfer from charged areas (paid in cash on tour day), food and drinks.

Yes — this is one of the best family experiences in Phuket. Children of all ages are welcome: infants 0-3 years join free, children 4-10 years pay ฿1,250, and guests 11 and over pay the adult price of ฿1,450. All activities are gentle, fully supervised by experienced mahouts at all times, and specifically designed to be hands-on and fun for kids.
Wear clothes you don't mind getting wet and muddy — you will get wet during the bathing session and muddy during the mud spa. A raincoat is provided. Bring a change of dry clothes, shoes or sandals that can get wet, sunscreen, and a waterproof bag or case for your phone and valuables. Avoid bringing expensive items or anything you wouldn't want to get dirty.
The safari camp is located near Phuket's iconic Big Buddha (Phra Phuttha Ming Mongkol Akenakiri) in the Chalong area of Phuket. The camp offers stunning views of the surrounding islands. This is the same safari camp used for the ATV Tours — some guests combine both activities on the same day, though they are booked separately.

Bought two tours to the islands in September 2026. Both were very well organized and perfectly match description on the company website. Pickup and delivery back to the hotel were on time.
It is the cheapest travel agency which operates smoothly and at half price than others around Phuket. We went on 2 tours with them and there was no problem. They picked up us on time and the tours were absolutely fantastic.
You will not find cheaper tours in Phuket. Don’t waste your time hassling with leaflet merchants that you can easily knock down several hundred baht and still not be cheaper!
