Pick-up from your hotel.
Arrive at Ao Po pier for check-in and safety briefing.
Arrive at Panak Island, one of the most dramatic limestone islands in Phang Nga Bay. Admire the island's towering rock formations rising from the emerald sea as your big boat cruises slowly alongside the cliffs. Board your canoe guided by a professional local paddler and explore Panak Island's spectacular sea caves, gliding through narrow limestone passages into hidden chambers adorned with stalactites and stalagmites, and drifting through lush mangrove forests sheltered within the island's protected ecosystem.
Continue to Hong Island referring to its remarkable enclosed limestone chambers that can only be accessed by canoe. Board your canoe once more and paddle through a naturally carved sea tunnel into a breathtaking hidden lagoon, completely enclosed by towering jungle cliffs.
As your big boat cruises toward James Bond Island, enjoy a delicious lunch served on board with stunning panoramic views of Phang Nga Bay's spectacular limestone landscape surrounding you on all sides.
Transfer from your big boat to a traditional longtail boat for the short ride to the world-famous Khao Phing Kan, known as James Bond Island after its iconic role in the 1974 film The Man with the Golden Gun. Explore the island on foot, trek through its dramatic rock formations, and stand before the legendary Khao Tapu, the extraordinary 20-metre limestone needle rock rising vertically from the emerald waters. Capture unforgettable photographs of one of Thailand's most iconic natural landmarks before returning to the big boat by longtail.
Conclude your island adventure at Naka Island, a sheltered bay with calm, crystal-clear water, perfectly suited for swimming and water activities. Spend approximately one hour relaxing on the beach, swimming in the warm Andaman Sea, or try complimentary paddleboarding.
Arrival at Ao Po Pier and transfer back to your hotel.
Mandatory government fee paid in cash on tour
The cruise boat (max 80 passengers) offers several comfort advantages over a speedboat: air-conditioned indoor seating and sun decks, onboard restrooms, Thai buffet lunch served onboard with panoramic bay views while cruising between islands (speedboat tours eat at restaurants on land), a significantly smoother and gentler ride, and suitability for pregnant women, seniors, and guests who suffer from motion sickness. The cruise also departs from Ao Po Pier — closer to Phang Nga Bay — reducing total sea travel time. The trade-off is a slightly slower pace and fewer total stops compared to some speedboat tours.
Yes — sea canoeing is included at both Panak Island and Hong Island, with professional paddlers doing all the work. At Panak Island you paddle through the Ice Cream Cave — Phang Nga Bay's most impressive cave system with massive stalactites hanging from the ceiling, stalagmites rising from the floor, and colonies of resident bats. At Hong Island you canoe around a stunning enclosed lagoon completely surrounded by vertical limestone walls. No paddling experience or fitness is required — you simply sit in the canoe and enjoy the scenery while your guide does the paddling.
The tour visits four destinations in this order after departing Ao Po Pier at 09:00: (1) Panak Island — sea canoeing through the Ice Cream Cave; (2) Hong Island — sea canoeing around the enclosed lagoon; (3) James Bond Island (Khao Phing Kan) — a short longtail boat transfer from the anchored cruise to the island for photos of the iconic needle-shaped rock; (4) Naka Island at 14:00 — swimming and beach relaxation. Buffet lunch is served onboard between Hong Island and James Bond Island at approximately 11:30. Return to pier at 15:30-16:00.
No — the national park fee is NOT included in the tour price and must be paid separately in cash on the day of the tour. The fee is: Adults ฿300, Children ฿150 (ages 3-10). Infants aged 0-3 years are free. Please bring enough cash in Thai Baht for this fee. Everything else is included: hotel transfers, canoeing with professional paddlers, pier entry fee, pier shuttle, buffet lunch, life jacket, guide, and injury insurance.
Adults: ฿1,400. Children (3-10 years): ฿1,350. Infants (0-3 years): free of charge. Note that the national park fee (฿300 adult / ฿150 child) is paid separately in cash on the day. The tour is operated by Leo Canoe and runs daily.
Yes — this is specifically the best James Bond Island tour for families with young children, pregnant women, and elderly or senior guests. The large cruise boat (80 passengers) provides a stable, smooth platform with no sudden waves or jolts. Unlike speedboat tours, there are no age or health restrictions on this cruise. The onboard restrooms, air-conditioned interior, and gentle boarding make it practical for all ages and abilities. Sea canoeing is done with professional paddlers so no physical effort is required from guests.
The cruise boat anchors offshore as it is too large to dock directly at James Bond Island. Guests transfer by traditional longtail boat for the short ride to the island. This is a standard arrangement for all large vessel tours to James Bond Island — the longtail boat ride itself offers excellent views of the iconic needle rock approaching from the water. Once on the island, you have time for photos and exploration before returning to the cruise.
Yes — Thai buffet lunch is served onboard the cruise boat while sailing between Hong Island and James Bond Island at approximately 11:30. Eating lunch on the water surrounded by Phang Nga Bay's limestone karsts is one of the unique advantages of this cruise over speedboat tours, which eat at restaurants on land. The lunch is included in the tour price. Soft drinks and water are available onboard throughout the day.
Hotel pickup is at 07:00-07:30. The speedboat departs Ao Po Pier at 09:00. The tour returns to Ao Po Pier at 15:30-16:00, with hotel drop-off by approximately 16:30-17:00. This is one of the earlier-finishing tours in Phuket, giving guests a free late afternoon and evening. Exact pickup time is confirmed by email 24 hours before the tour.

Bought two tours to the islands in September 2026. Both were very well organized and perfectly match description on the company website. Pickup and delivery back to the hotel were on time.
It is the cheapest travel agency which operates smoothly and at half price than others around Phuket. We went on 2 tours with them and there was no problem. They picked up us on time and the tours were absolutely fantastic.
You will not find cheaper tours in Phuket. Don’t waste your time hassling with leaflet merchants that you can easily knock down several hundred baht and still not be cheaper!
I booked Phi Phi Island tour, staff on board were so friendly, helpful and nice. Tour guide Sunny was very informative, great tour, highly recommend.
We had a great long boat tour to James Bond Island via the monkey caves, floating fishing village and canoes! Our guide, Kim, was fantastic. He was really informative, friendly and helpful! I highly recommend the James Bond Island tour and thanks Kim for a great day!
Organised a group of 8 friends and the communication before the tour was excellent. They answered every question quickly. The speedboat tour to Phi Phi and Khai Island was a highlight of our two weeks in Thailand.
Much better prices than a major competitor, I'd advise checking here and comparing prices. Be aware they have fewer tours available.
Read moreWe took different tours with this company. Everything was excellent. On time, professional staff, awesome places, Whatapp number for any enquiry . Also in their website you can pay in different currencies. Well done
Read moreThe itinerary was organised perfectly, the staff were kind and made you feel included. As a solo traveller, I went out to Phi Phi island and the English speaking tour guide (his name was Guang) and felt very looked after and welcomed.
Read moreJust a fantastic James Bond day tour, well organized. Lots of good activities but just the right amount of time at each location to enjoy. Easy to interact with too on WhatsApp or via email or phone. Just the best to arrange a trip in Phuket. Great value too!
Read moreWe want to thank Phuket Tours Direct for this unbelievable and beautiful experience to James Bond Island. Never we've seen so much astonishing nature. Thailand is the most beautiful country we've seen during our holidays! Everything was perfectly organised on board of the speedboat with drinks and snacks. We also received transportation with a small touringcar from our hotel in Patong which was included in the price. Perfect service!

Read moreWe booked our trip to Phang Nga online at Phuket Torus Direct. The booking process was flawless and the driver showed up as promised. I can really recommend the company.
Read moreEverything was arranged perfectly. Hotel pickup was on time, the guide was knowledgeable, and Maya Bay was absolutely stunning. Booked the early bird tour and it was worth every baht — barely anyone else there when we arrived.
Read moreWe travelled with two young kids and a grandmother. The cruise boat was the right call — calm, spacious, and the staff were so helpful with the little ones. Will definitely book again on our next trip to Phuket.
Read moreBest tour we did in Thailand. The catamaran was comfortable and stable — no seasickness at all. Pileh Lagoon looked exactly like the photos. Booking was easy and the price was the lowest I found anywhere online.
Read moreIt was the best trip ever, could not recommend a day trip to the Similan Islands highly enough. Fee and his team were impeccable, always going over and above for you. We could not fault anything during the whole trip.
Honest, no-middleman pricing. I compared three other agencies and Phuket Tours Direct was consistently cheaper for the same tours. The James Bond + Phi Phi combo was a full day but incredible value — two iconic locations in one trip.
Read moreReally good experience overall. The guide was funny and spoke excellent English. Phi Phi Don at lunchtime was a bit crowded but that's the same for every tour. Would choose the early bird next time to beat the crowds at Maya Bay.
