Two combo options are available, both at Camp Chang Kalim near Patong. Option 1: 30-minute elephant trek + 30-minute bathing — ฿1,200 per person (4+ years). Option 2: 45-minute elephant trek + 30-minute bathing — ฿1,300 per person (4+ years). Both options begin with an elephant trek through lush jungle trails and hilltop paths, followed by a hands-on bathing session where you splash, scrub and bond with your elephant in the water. Infants 0-3 years join free. All guests aged 4 and over pay the same flat price — there is no separate child rate.
The tour starts at the safari camp at 09:00, 11:00, 13:00, and 15:00 daily — four departures per day. Hotel pickup is arranged before your chosen departure time based on your hotel location. Total time at the camp (including trek and bathing) is approximately 1 hour for the 30-minute trek option and approximately 1 hour 15 minutes for the 45-minute trek option, plus transfer time.
The key difference is the length of the elephant ride. The 30-minute trek (฿1,200) covers a scenic jungle loop and is ideal for first-timers or those with young children. The 45-minute trek (฿1,300) is a longer ride through more jungle terrain and hilltop paths, giving you more time to enjoy the scenery and connect with your elephant before the bathing session. Both options include the same 30-minute bathing session.
All guests aged 4 and over pay the same flat rate — ฿1,200 (30-min trek) or ฿1,300 (45-min trek). There is no separate discounted child price. Infants aged 0-3 years join free of charge. This differs from some other elephant experiences which offer a separate lower child price for ages 4-10.
Yes. Pregnant women are not allowed to participate in the elephant trekking (riding) activity. Infants under 4 years old ride for free but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. There are no other age or weight restrictions on this tour. If you are pregnant and still wish to visit the camp, please contact us in advance as the bathing activity restriction may differ — the restriction specifically applies to the trekking (riding) portion.
This tour is operated by Camp Chang Kalim near Patong, so the free transfer zone is centred around Patong and the west coast. Note: unlike most other Phuket tour operators, Chalong, Nai Harn and Rawai are NOT in the free zone for this tour.
